George Gyamfi Obituary, Death – On February 14, 2023, George, who resided in Milton, Massachusetts, passed away at the age of 84. He is leaving behind his cherished wife of 61 years, Judy. devoted father of Robert A. George, age 60, and Simon A. George, age 59, all of Florida; William J. George, age 56, of Auburn, Massachusetts; and Jennifer M. Cedrone, age 55, of Quincy, Massachusetts; all four of them living in Massachusetts. There are also a total of 12 grandchildren still alive.

A devoted brother of Joyce Bacardi, who resides in Milton as well. Simon George had lived in Milton for the majority of his 57 years and received his education at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. Simon was born in Quincy and resided there until moving to Milton in 1965, having planned and constructed his home on Ford Ranch Road, where he reared his family and lived until his death.

Simon passed away in Milton. Before the business was sold, he was the owner of Quincy Ornamental Ironworks, which had been in the family for several generations and was located in South Boston, Massachusetts. After that, he worked as a consultant for a number of the most successful ironworks companies in the greater Boston area. Simon was devoted to his family, his business, and his vehicles, and he also had a deep affection for the Boston Red Sox, which led him to follow their games with an almost religious zeal.

On Wednesday, February 22, at 10:00 am, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Elizabeth Church, located at 350 Reedsdale Road in Milton. This will take place in the parish of Our Lady of the Visitation. Invited guests include both family and friends.
