Easton Williams Obituary, Death – Williams, who resided in Wilson Borough and was 80 years old at the time of his death, passed away in his home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. His birth took place in Easton on July 6, 1942, and he was named after his late parents, LeRoy G. Williams and Catherine (Pulli) Williams. The year 2002 marked the passing of his mother.
LeRoy received his high school education at Easton, from which he graduated with the class of 1960.
During the time of the Vietnam War, he was a soldier in the United States Army. His knowledge in the printing industry was earned through Mack Printing, National Advertising, and Chernay Printing, all of which he worked for. At one point in time, he was considered a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church as well as the Citizens’ Hose. He coached for a significant number of years at the Little League Sports organization in the Wilson Borough.
In the Easton area, he was employed as a softball umpire for a period of time that spanned more than twenty years. During his years of retirement, he might be seen enjoying the great outdoors by golfing, fishing, camping, or hunting. These activities kept him active. He was an early member of the Penn State Nittany Jitney and could be found in the stands of Beaver Stadium cheering on the Nittany Lions.
LeRoy Williams is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ann (Cicero) Williams; son, Lee C. Williams and his wife, Vicky of Williams Twp.; daughter, Stacy Dietz and her fiance, Mark Shorette of South Whitehall Twp.; sister, Juliann Willever and her husband, Robert; brother, Carl Williams; grandchildren, Anthony Williams and his wife, Angela, and Andrew Williams; and sister, Juliann Willever and her husband, Robert
