Blanton Causey Obituary, Blanton Causey Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Blanton Causey Obituary, Death – Mrs. Matha Lee Blanton Causey, who was 90 years old and had been ailing for some time, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Loris, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Sammie Overson Blanton, who passed away, and Matha Skipper Sarvis Blanton, who also passed away. She was born on June 25, 1932, in Loris, South Carolina. Throughout her entire life, Mrs. Causey was a devoted homemaker. In addition to working at Marlene Industries, she also helped run the family farm alongside her late husband, F.E. Causey, Sr. Mrs. Causey was an active member of the Live Oak Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, and doing other outside chores in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Causey was also predeceased by her husband. On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be performed at Hardwick Memorial Chapel. The Reverend Mack Hutson and the Reverend Jimmy Floyd will preside over the ceremony. At the Hardwick Funeral Home on Wednesday, the family will greet friends beginning at 2:00 PM and continuing up until the time of the ceremonies.

Her survivors include her son, Franklin Earl Causey, Jr. (and his wife, Shelly), her daughter, JoAnn Vaught (and her husband, Jimmy), all of whom reside in Loris, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Franklin Causey, III (and his wife, Jennifer), Russell Scott Causey (and his wife, Stacy), Christy Allsbrook, and Jason Vaught (and his wife, Michelle); six great-grandchildren, Colby Causey, Austin Causey, Katie Causey, Bradley Vaught ( Mrs. Causey was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Earl “F.E.” Causey, Sr.; seven brothers, J.P. Blanton, Bill Blanton, Joe Blanton, Hubert Blanton, Mack Blanton, Cliff Sarvis, and Leroy Sarvis; and two sisters, Louise Richardson Doyle and Mary Lou Blanton.
