Her birth took place on December 8th, 1986, in Moultrie, and her parents were Tim Corkhill from Fort Myers, Florida, and Georgia Ann Edwards, who had previously passed away. Her mother had passed away before her daughter was born. Her mother had previously passed away before she was born. Kayla was a devout member of the Baptist church and had previously served as an employee in the medical records section of the Colquitt County Health Department.

She placed her family at the pinnacle of her priorities, and she cherished the time she was able to spend with her little child. Kayla was very talented in the kitchen, the arts (most notably painting and handicraft), and in the garden, where she spent a lot of time because she liked working outside so much. She excelled in all three of these areas.

Her great-grandparents, Nell and Frank Edwards, as well as her uncle Tommy Edwards and aunt Diane Sellers, all passed away before she was born. Before she was born, all of her relatives had already passed away. Nell and Frank Edwards were the woman and man who raised her maternal grandparents. Her mother’s parents had already passed away before she was born, therefore her maternal grandparents followed in their footsteps and also died before she was born.
