Glen Gallagher Obituary, Death – On Thursday, February 16, 2023, Glen E. Gallagher, age 73, previously of Freedom and now residing in Monaca, Pennsylvania, abruptly died away. Both Glen’s mother and father, Mary Ellen and John Gallagher, passed away before him. He is survived by his devoted partner, Andrea Smith; his son, Aaron Gallagher; his stepson, Gary (Donna) Householder; and his granddaughter, Lauren Householder.
He is also survived by his siblings, John (Jackie) Gallagher, Robert (Maria) Gallagher, Debra (Matt) Hughes, and Rosemary (Jeff) Stockman; a beloved Aunt and Uncle, Margaret and John Graham; and a number of devoted nieces, nephews. The way that Glen could brighten up a room and make everyone in it feel so loved and welcome is something that will live on in people’s memories forever.
After only two minutes of conversation with him, you already felt as though you had known him for many years. He always made sure everyone in his family and circle of friends had everything they needed. He was a furious player of corn hole, loved to clean and organize things, and never stopped talking and entertaining. Corn hole was his specialty. We shall all feel a profound loss with his passing.
Glen served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In Rochester, at the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. located at 349 Adams Street, visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the funeral service will begin at 7:15 PM.
