Dena Becker Obituary, Death – The TCU School District is deeply saddened by the passing of one of our own and would like to express our condolences to the community through this statement. Bus number 53 was driven by the wonderful and compassionate Dena Becker, who worked for TCU. Our deepest sympathies go out to every member of her family as well as to everybody who knew Dena. In addition, we would want to assure her that she and every member of her family are in our prayers. She will live on in our memories.

Dena Kay Becker, who was born in Burlington, Iowa, and lived in Le Center, Minnesota, passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 54. The news of her passing has left us with heavy hearts and we want to share it with you. In honor of the deceased, family members and friends are encouraged to send flowers and messages of condolence.

She is survived by her father, James Whipps, of Le Center; her husband, Dan Becker, also of Le Center; her daughter, Desiree Becker (Brandon), of Brownton; her nephews, Cody Thelemann, Jacob Thelemann, and Blake Whipps; and her siblings, Pamela Seaton (Will), of Oquawka, Illinois, and Brian Whipps (Lynn), of Burlington, Iowa. In addition, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
